FY 2008 Request for Proposals Announcement

The Michigan Department of Agriculture is pleased to announce the MDA Horticulture Fund Committee request for proposals (RFP) for FY-08 projects. The proposals will be coordinated through the Michigan Agriculture Experiment Station office. All proposals must address critical needs of Michigan's nursery and ornamental horticulture plant industries. Plant commodity and stakeholder groups have submitted their research/educational priorities. These priorities are continually being updated by organizations and are available through the Project GREEEN Web site (www.greeen.msu.edu). Horticulture Fund grants will be awarded up to a maximum annual amount of $20,000 per approved proposal. This is a competitive grant program.

All proposals will need to follow the outlined format and page limit (link to RFP forms). The original and 10 copies of the proposal must be received at the following address by 5:00 p.m., on February 1, 2008. Proposals submitted from Michigan State University must also provide one copy of a completed transmittal.
