The Michigan Department of Agriculture, through cooperative agreement with the USDA, provides an official inspection and certification services to Michigan firms that export plants and plant products to foreign countries. MDA provides expert phytosanitary inspection and certification through field staff assigned to the seven regional offices located throughout the state.
