Select a Michigan Wine:
Nothing sets off the season better than a fine Michigan wine, and this year there are more than ever to choose from!  From Chateau Grand Traverse Ice Wine to Shady Lane Brut, Michigan has some of the finest wines this side of the Atlantic.  Pick up a bottle for yourself, or put one in a basket of Michigan fruits and cheese as a gift for your holiday friends and hosts—nothing will ensure next year's invitation more than a delicious Michigan wine!  For more information on Michigan wines available to you click on over to the official Michigan Wines Web site.

Michigan Ice Wines:
There is nothing more seasonal or delicious in the wine world than a Michigan Ice Wine.  These wines are made from Riesling or similar grapes frozen to approximately 18° F, at which temperature the water freezes but the concentrated juice may yet be pressed out.  The resulting juice is so strong and so sweet that just a few drops can fill your mouth!  The entire process is time consuming and labor intensive, but for our Michigan vintners, it's a labor of love.  Try one yourself, and you'll see.  There are several Michigan wineries currently producing this extraordinary product: Black Star Farms, Chateau Chantal, Lemon Creek Winery, Fenn Valley, Peninsula Cellars, Raftshol Vineyard, and Chateau Grand Traverse.

  Michigan Dry Fruit Brandies:
While they technically aren't wines, they are produced right here at some of Michigan's finest wineries.  Like the ice wines, these brandies are difficult to make, but the product is well worth the effort.  This year four Michigan wineries are producing these exquisite brandies, offering everything from apricot to pear not to mention the essential Michigan fruit brandy, cherry.  These wineries include Black Star Farms, Chateau Chantal, Round Barn Winery, and St. Julian.  At this time only Black Star Farms and St. Julian are able to offer their brandies to the public with the others, Chateau Chantal and Round Barn Winery, hoping to have theirs available come the first of the new year.  For more information please contact the respective wineries.

Without a doubt, these dry fruit brandies make for an excellent gift, if not for a loved one, then for yourself!
