Product Information:
The recalled cakes come in a round, unlabeled 16-ounce package with a black or clear plastic bottom and a clear plastic dome.

Problem/Reason for Recall:
The recalled product may contain undeclared eggs, milk, wheat, soy or tree nuts. People with allergies or severe sensitivities to eggs, milk, wheat, soy or tree nuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume the recalled product.

There is one reported allergic reaction attributed to this product.

KFC will resume selling Double Chocolate Chip Cakes in the future after the product packaging has been modified to include ingredient information.
