Sheep

  1. An official interstate health certificate or official certificate of veterinary inspection, must accompany all sheep except those consigned directly to a slaughter facility or to a livestock auction market for sale for slaughter.

  2. Note: All sheep must be officially individually identified by ear tag, tattoo, or registration number. The individual identification must be recorded on the health certificate.

  3. Documentation that the sheep originate from a flock free from clinical signs of foot rot must be on the health certificate.

  4. Sheep must meet requirements of USDA scrapie program.
