FPIA Board Members

The Michigan Farm Produce Insurance Authority, created by P.A. 198 of 2003, as amended, is a ten-member (eight voting) board, representing farmers, and grain industry, feed and banking interests, and has the responsibility of establishing, administering and promoting the Farm Produce Insurance Fund. MDARD Director, Jamie Clover Adams is Chair, and is a non-voting member. The department has auditing and regulatory oversight responsibilities at grain elevators in Michigan.
