The Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development (MDARD) will host Michigan pavilions at this year's Michigan Grocers Association (MGA) and Michigan Restaurant Association (MRA) shows.

The Michigan Pavilion is a selected area within the trade show where Michigan's agriculture-based companies are identified for attendees while promoting their Michigan made products. Both events are attended by industry insiders such as buyers and distributors.

MDARD is offering discounted booth space to exhibitors participating in the Michigan pavilions at both the MGA & MRA shows.  Additional discounts are available to specialty crop companies - including fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruit, horticulture, and nursery crops.

The MGA show will take place on September 16, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville. Additional show details can be found at www.michigangrocers.org/e_events.htm.

The MRA show will take place on October 15, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and October 16, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi. Visit www.michiganrestaurantshow.org for more event information.

For additional vendor information, contact Cindy Gould, MDARD Promotional Agent, at gouldc@michigan.gov or 517-373-8554.
