Homeless Veterans and Stand Down Events
While the number of homeless veterans is hard to gauge, the VA's rough estimate of homeless veterans is well over 100,000 on any given day. If you are a homeless veteran, a veteran at risk of becoming homeless or are someone who knows a veteran in those situations, the links below can provide information that you can use to seek help.

There is also a Stand Down event scheduled for Detroit that is being put on by a local charity organization, Southeastern Michigan Veterans Stand Down Inc. that is not listed on the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans calendar.
