1.            Q: How do I get reimbursed for my education?

A: The Veterans Education and Training Approval Unit does not handle payments. Check with the DVA  http://www.gibill.va.gov  Web site, or call your local DVA office.

2.           Q: How do I know if programs at a school are approved by the SAA so that I may receive my educational benefits? 

A: Check with the institution you are attending or call your SAA office. 

3.                  Q: How else can I use my veterans education benefits?

A: Your education benefits also can be used to pay for academic or training exams. The DVA  http://www.gibill.va.gov office can give you more information about how your benefits can be used.

4.                  Q: How can my institution apply for approval?

A: Go to the Applications and forms page to get the right application for your organization, or send us an e-mail at career@michigan.gov and we will help you get started.

5.                   Q: What if there have been changes in our institution?

A: Report all changes to us so we may update your records. Go to the Applications and forms page for the appropriate form.
