| Customer Spotlight -- Mary Ann

Mary Ann came to MRS from a Community Mental Health referral which reported her difficulty holding a job and maintaining housing. Her disability characteristics are related to mental illness. She also has a history of substance abuse and has spent a number of years in prison.
In working with her MRS Counselor, Mary Ann agreed to an Individualized Plan for Employment which included vocational assessment testing, supportive services, placement services, follow-up services and most importantly counseling. She actively engaged in services and is now gainfully employed full time. She also mentors other women newly released from prison.
