COMING FROM NORTH: Exit I-75 at 282. Turn left onto Main Street. At Wisconsin turn right. Wisconsin turns into Grandview and dead ends, when you cross at the light. Just before the dead end, turn right onto Elkview. We are on the left hand side in the Lower Level of the Elkview Professional Building.

COMING FROM WEST: M-32 to Wisconsin. At Wisconsin turn right. Wisconsin turns into Grandview and dead ends, when you cross at the light. Just before the dead end, turn right onto Elkview. We are on the left hand side in the Lower Level of the Elkview Professional Building.

COMING FROM SOUTH: Exit I-75 at 279. Turn right onto Old 27 South/South Otsego Road. At Grandview turn right. At Elkview turn right.We are on the left hand side in the Lower Level of the Elkview Professional Building.

COMING FROM EAST: M-32 to South Otsego/Old 27 South. Turn Left. At Grandview/Wisconsin turn Left. Wisconsin turns into Grandview and dead ends, when you cross at the light. Just before the dead end, turn right onto Elkview. We are on the left hand side in the Lower Level of the Elkview Professional Building.

Michigan Works! Service Center is located just off Main Street directlly behind the Ben Franklin store. Handicapper parking is not metered and is near the front entrance.

Unique Features:

The Gaylord Office is part of the Northern Michigan District, which serves the 21 counties in Northern Lower Michigan. As noted above, we have an extensive number of satellite locations we cover in a variety of ways. Professional staff travel to these and many other locations on a regular basis to better meet the needs of our individual customers. Covering this much territory is a real challenge, but we feel it is extremely important to meet with customers in their local communities whenever possible. Personal schedules are posted at business locations and it is always best to call ahead.

We have agreements with all of the school districts, Community Mental Health Boards, and numerous community agencies in our 21 county catchment area. As a district we cover the following counties: Emmet, Charlevoix, Antrim, Leelanau, Benzie, Manistee, Grand Traverse, Wexford, Kalkaska, Missaukee, Cheboygan, Otsego, Crawford, Roscommon, Presque Isle, Montmorency, Oscoda, Ogemaw, Alpena, Alcona, and Iosco.
