Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy Revolving Loan Program


Michigan Energy Revolving Loan (RLF) Program: 
Public Act 242 of 2009 established the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Revolving Loan Fund (Energy Revolving Loan Fund) Program to provide low-interest loans to public or private entities for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

Passive Solar System Loans 
Low interest loans are available for family farms, non-profit 501(c) organizations, and education institutions (with local education authority)  to fund passive solar systems and Energy Efficient/Renewable Energy projects. A passive solar system is a structure which can extend the growing season to ten to twelve months without additional supplemental heat or light.

Farm Energy Audit Implementation 
Low interest loans are available for family farms to implement their Farm Energy Audit recommendations.

Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Projects by Public Entities Loans  Note: Public Entities Loan applications are not being accepted at this time.  It is anticipated that additional funds will become available at the end of the calendar year.

Loans available for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy projects; awards will be made for projects between $100,000 and $2,500,000.
 

CEAM - Clean Energy Advance Manufacturing
Low interest loans up to $2,000,000 are available to diversify into high growth clean energy sectors and invest in advanced manufacturing of renewable energy and energy efficiency systems and components.
