Industrial Energy Efficient Technology Demonstration Grants
The Michigan Energy Office (MEO) is offering businesses, currently located in Michigan, matching grants for projects that will demonstrate innovative industrial energy efficient technologies not yet widely adopted in Michigan. The purpose for the Industrial Energy Efficient Technology Demonstration grant program is to drive adoption of these innovative technologies by industry and others in Michigan through real world demonstrations and in-depth documentation and information outreach. R&D Funding Programs Specifically for Innovative Small Businesses in Industrial Technologies

The federal government has Departments, Agencies and programs that regularly provide grants for Commercially Viable Industrial-related technological innovations, products and processes.  One such program - Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) - provides R&D grants to small businesses (<500 employees) that range from: $100,000 (Phase I) to $1,000,000 (Phase II).  

Some of Michigan's most prominent cutting-edge commercial businesses were launched with SBIR/STTR funding and continue to procure millions of dollars in grants each year to maintain the vibrancy of their proprietary technology innovation portfolio and leverage their continued market leadership and commercial growth.
