Program Overview
The Rebuild Michigan Program, along with its Regional Technical Assistants (RTAs), works to promote increased energy efficiency within Michigan communities. This is achieved by assisting each Rebuild Community Client to identify, develop, and implement energy conservation options identified in their Rebuild - Introductory Energy Evaluation (IEE) report. For additional information on the program's scope and services, please see the Rebuild Michigan Program brochure. | Regional Technical Assistants
The Rebuild Michigan Program is developing new and strengthened partnerships known as Regional Technical Assistants. Our assistants are selected through an application process and are designated based on a list of pre-selected qualifications. RTAs assist in the performance of Introductory Energy Evaluations (IEEs) and energy efficiency outreach and education. Our Rebuild RTAs ensure a high level of quality and program coverage for our Rebuild Community Clients. If you are interested in becoming an RTA, please be sure to read the RTA Guidelines document. Then submit the RTA Application Form to Tim Shireman at shiremant@michigan.gov.RTA Guidelines RTA Application Form RTA Regional Map RTA Direct Services Application Form RTA Direct Services Program | Rebuild MI Community Clients
Rebuild Michigan Community Clients (RCCs) can gain access to resources and technical assistance to assist with identifying cost effective energy conservation options for their building(s). These options are identified in an Introductory Energy Evaluation (IEE) and are used as a tool to develop a site-specific energy action plan. This plan will map out the energy future for a facility or community and how it can be achieved. Once the plan is put into action, partners will realize many benefits.
Please refer to the Regional Technical Assistants Map in the Program Maps section (under Related Links) to find a qualified Regional Technical Assistant in your area. For more information on what it means to be a Rebuild MI Community Client, click here.
If you are interested in becoming a Rebuild Michigan Community Client, please fill out the RCC Enrollment form. Submit all completed forms or inquiries to Tim Shireman via email to shiremant@michigan.gov.
