Office of Adult Education Guidebook

The Workforce Development Agency (WDA), Office of Adult Education is pleased to present the WDA Adult Education Guidebook to adult educators throughout the state. The Guidebook contains relevant information program operations, services, applications, reports, planning, evaluation, accounting procedures, program linkages, administrative guidance, and other resources pertinent to adult education in Michigan.

The purpose of this Guidebook is to assist adult education personnel in applying for, implementing, and administering state and federal adult education funds. 

This "living" document will be updated frequently in part or whole, depending on changes in state and/or federal legislation or regulations. Suggestions for improving the usability of this document are encouraged. It is through the adult educators who work with the adult learners on a daily basis that valuable feedback on the appropriateness, relevance, and utility of this Guidebook can be received and incorporated.
