The MDCH TB Control Program collaborates with public and private health care professionals to promote effective diagnosis, treatment, and management of persons affected by tuberculosis and to prevent the spread of tuberculosis in the community.
A TB Intensive Workshop was held on October 4-5, 2012 in Lansing. PDF versions of the conference presentations are available here.
Dr. Dana Kissner has revised her presentation titled, "Tuberculosis: Suspect, Case, Reporting," which provides inpatient guidance to providers to improve the diagnosis, initial management, and reporting of TB suspects and TB cases. The revised powerpoint is located in the Training and Education section under Provider Education. Check it out!
