How long are the licenses issued for?

Your initial license is only good until the next expiration date of your profession (anywhere from 4 months to 1 year).  After your first renewal, it will be an every two-year renewal period for full licensure as long as you keep the license current.  You will receive a renewal application 45-60 days prior to the expiration date of your license.  It will state the renewal fee required.
