Michigan Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Waiver - Section 1915(c)

The Michigan Department of Community Health is preparing a section 1915 (c) waiver application to submit to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to allow the state to offer rehabilitative and home and community-based services to persons who have suffered a qualifying traumatic brain injury (TBI) within 15 months prior to application to the program.  The program would utilize providers specifically trained in handling TBI clients and provide a slate of services designed to maximize the rehabilitative potential of this population.
