Self-Help Program
This program is designed to complement the care provided by your health-care team and allow you to share experiences with others. Trained volunteers, many of whom have arthritis or fibromyalgia, lead the courses. The Arthritis Foundation Self-Help Program is designed to:
identify and teach you the latest pain management techniques
help you develop your own individualized exercise program
help you learn to manage fatigue and stress more effectively
discuss the purposes and effective use of medications

This exercise program is designed specifically for people with arthritis that uses gentle activities to
help increase joint flexibility and range of motion
help maintain muscle strength
Different classes are available to fit your fitness level – with exercises done while sitting, standing or on the floor.

Aquatics Program
Water is a safe, ideal environment for relieving arthritis pain and stiffness. That's why the Arthritis Foundation offers its Aquatic Program, designed to safely keep your joints moving and improve your sense of well-being.
The Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program also provides a friendly and supportive atmosphere in which you can make new friends and try new activities.

Enhance Fitness
This low-cost, evidence-based exercise program helps older adults at all levels
of fitness become more active, energized, and empowered to sustain independent lives.
