| Influenza Vaccine Exchange Network |
Note: This resource is for licensed health care professionals only. If you need a flu shot, contact your health care provider or local health department.
The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) Division of Immunizations and the Flu Advisory Board have created a centralized location on the Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR) where end-users of influenza vaccine can share information about their influenza vaccine inventory to facilitate vaccine redistribution, should shortages or maldistribution occur.
The Influenza Vaccine Exchange Network (IVEN) is currently active! It is used by licensed physicians, their staff, local health departments, Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) members, home health care agencies, pharmacy staff, nursing homes, hospitals, and other health care or vaccine providers. IVEN is only accessible to sites that are registered to use MCIR. To learn how to register your site for the MCIR, click here.
