Vaccines are the most important tool we have for preventing influenza. The links below will take you to more information about the 2009 H1N1 flu vaccines.


Antivirals

Although yearly vaccination with the flu vaccine is the primary strategy for preventing complications of influenza virus infections, antiviral medications with activity against influenza (seasonal and 2009 H1N1) viruses can be effective for the prevention and treatment of influenza.
