Michigan Cardiovascular Alliance: Experts in cardiovascular disease were convened to provide guidance and collaborate on developing a burden document and strategic plan. Partners identified strategies, emerging issues and best practices to inform planning and implementation of projects for the control of cardiovascular disease in Michigan.(2009)

Michigan Stroke Initiative (MSI): An advisory group convened in 1997 by MDCH to develop and implement a state plan for improving stroke care in Michigan. For more detailed information see Michigan Stroke Initiative . MSI Meets twice a year.
Healthy Weight Partnership (HWP): The Michigan Healthy Weight Partnership was established for the purpose of overseeing the implementation and evaluation of Michigan's obesity state plan. Members include over 50 state, local, public and private organizations who assisted with the creation of the state plan and/or whose organizations are actively engaged in completing activities consistent with the state plan's objectives.
