The Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention Program was established in 1991 to
prevent hepatitis B transmission from pregnant women to their infants and household and sexual contacts. Prevention of perinatal hepatitis B
transmission requires the coordinated transfer of information between primary
care providers, hospitals, laboratories, and the state and local health
departments.

This manual was last updated in March 2011. Revised documents are designated as UPDATED. All documents are in PDF format.
