Allows dental hygienist to work within a collaborative practice with dental supervision rules to provide service to the underserved children and elderly populations.
Collaboration with the Michigan Dental Association, works to find dentists and dental labs to donate dental services to the elderly and disabled.
The program is funded through the Michigan Department of Community Health to the Michigan Dental Association and the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.

Developmentally Disabled Dental Program
Provides limited funding to assist the severe developmentally disabled population to access dental services.
Clients accepted for funding is through referral basis only from client case managers.
