Where can I find Michigan's Reportable Disease List? The most recent version of the list, as well as other commonly used forms, can be found on our CD Resources & Forms page.
Is Salmonella isolated from urine a reportable condition? Yes. Salmonella isolated from any clinical specimen indicates a reportable condition. Salmonella most typically causes diarrheal illness, but it can also cause focal infections at other sites. Salmonella bacteriuria more commonly occurs in females and may represent a primary urinary tract infection or secondary contamination from feces.
