The Department of Community Health is a public body required by law to provide public records. Some records are exempt from public disclosure by the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) or some other statute.
The MDCH Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) policy, effective March 14, 2008, is now available for review by clicking on the link above. The policy, as linked above, provides specific detail regarding definitions, general information, exemptions under FOIA, and procedures for processing requests.
