The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) has summarily suspended the medical license of Jason L. Hollady, M.D., based on his felony conviction in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, Southern Division – Flint.
On April 13, 2004, Hollady was convicted of Willfully Filing a False Tax Return, which is a felony. As a result, Hollady was sentenced to incarceration for a period of 15 months, and was ordered to pay a fine in the amount of $25,000.00.
On November 8, 2004, MDCH issued an order immediately suspending Hollady’s license pursuant to the Public Health Code, which provides for the mandatory summary suspension of a health professional’s license upon the conviction of a felony. An administrative hearing will be scheduled to address the status of Hollady’s medical license.
