The Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) has summarily suspended the chiropractic license of Robert J. Moore, D.C. The MDCH Bureau of Health Professions orders a summary suspension when it believes that the public’s health, safety, and welfare warrant emergency action.
Moore’s license was summarily suspended based, in part, on his alleged inappropriate performing of manipulations to minor patient’s breasts, and his alleged failure to have a witness present while he performed said manipulations.
On September 26, 2005, MDCH issued an order immediately suspending Moore’s chiropractic license. An administrative hearing will be scheduled to address the status of Moore’s license.
