Surgeon General to Appear on ABC Television Program "Nightline"

June 2, 2004 Michigan’s Surgeon General, Dr. Kimberlydawn Wisdom, will appear tonight on the ABC program, Nightline. The program airs at 11:35 p.m., and focuses on a Detroit family and their continuing struggle with obesity. As Michigan’s chief public health advocate, Dr. Wisdom will discuss the disparities in the crippling obesity epidemic that is gripping the state and nation. The interview is part of Nightline's "Condition Critical" investigative news collection.
