Colorectal Cancer, Health Disparities, and Policy WebinarFirst offered in March 2013, and sponsored by the MCC Health Disparities Workgroup and Policy Committee, the webinar features May Yassine, PhD (Cancer Health Disparities in Michigan), Ernesto Drelichman, MD (Colorectal Cancer Screening and Reminder Systems for Providers and Patients), and Mitzi Koroleski, RN, BSN (Evidence-based Strategies for Engaging Rural Populations and Improving Screening Rates).
The Michigan Cancer Surveillance Program Cancer Inquiry System provides current information on cancer incidence and mortality rates in Michigan. Through the Cancer Inquiry System, people can select criteria such as cancer site, sex, race/ethnicity, as well as use an interactive map to view and better understand the burden of cancer by county or from a statewide perspective.
