Public health focuses on offering a broad array of services across communities and populations that collectively will help people to be healthy. Primary care focuses on providing medical services to patients with acute, preventative and/or chronic conditions. Together we share a goal of promoting the health and well-being of all people.

• Health Statistics and Reports:The Department of Community Health collects information on a range of health related issues, that is used to monitor the general health and well-being of Michigan's citizens.
• Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality:Free research summaries about the benefits and risks of different treatments for different health conditions for both providers and patients.
