Diagnostic Audiologic Evaluation

Goal 2:

All infants who screen positive will have a diagnostic audiologic evaluation no later than 3 months of age.

A complete hearing check is provided by an audiologist using different hearing tests ( Diagnostic Tests ) in audiology offices  (Pediatric Audiology Diagnostic Sites)  at any age, but within 1 month of not passing a second hearing screen.  A complete test is important to rule out or confirm hearing loss in infants and young children.
