CAs are under agreement with MDCH to provide substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery services throughout Michigan.

Prevention is involved in reducing youth access to tobacco and underage drinking, and providing parenting awareness resources. Please click on Prevention to learn more.

Treatment services include detoxification, inpatient and outpatient care, short and long term residential therapy, and access services for women and families. Opioid treatment medication, including methadone, is provided by opioid treatment programs (OTP). Please click on Treatment to learn more.

OROSC is committed to developing a recovery oriented system of care (ROSC) in Michigan. As a result, we are initiating a process to engage stakeholders throughout the state, including people in recovery, family members, providers, and county administrators, in a dialogue to assist in creation of a shared vision to shape the future of Michigan's prevention and treatment system. Please click on Recovery to learn more.

Much of ORSOC was formerly the Bureau of Substance Abuse & Addiction Services (BSAAS) and the Office of Drug Control Policy (ODCP).
