Adolescent Immunization Reminder/Recall Project
Vaccination is extremely important to a community's health. Today, we have vaccines available that can protect Michigan's citizens throughout their lifetime from some of the most infectious diseases. Southeast Michigan, however, has had historically low vaccination rates, especially in its adolescent population.
In response, the Michigan Department of Community Health, through Prevention and Public Health Funds from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, has designed a project specifically catered towards your region's needs to increase immunizations among your adolescent patients.
This project will be available for all providers who serve adolescents from the city of Detroit, Genesee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw, and Wayne Counties.
