On October 26, 2009, administration for the Byrne Justice Assistance Grant, the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for State Prisoners Grant, and the Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Act transferred to the Department of State Police. Their new website is www.michigan.gov/cjgrants.

On October 26, 2009, administration for Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act School Formula Grants and Governor's Discretionary Grants transferred to the Department of Education. Their new website is www.michigan.gov/mde/0,1607,7-140-43092_4878---,00.html.

These changes were a result of Executive Orders 2009-02 and 2009-42.
