Michigan's First Statewide Leadership Summit on Asian Pacific American Issues

Contact:  Trevor Coleman 313-456-3790
Agency: Civil Rights

The Council of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA) in collaboration with the Governor's Advisory Council on Asian Pacific American Affairs (ACAPAA) and other Michigan Asian Pacific American groups will hold its first statewide APA Leadership Summit.

This year's summit is historic as CAPA is expanding the scope of the event to address the needs of the entire APA community in Michigan. CAPA has held five previous leadership summits that were exclusive to the Metropolitan Detroit area.

Registration for the event is now open and available at www.capa-mi.org

Adults: $30 (before August 13) $45 (after August 13)

Students: $15 (before & after August 13)

CAPA, founded in 2001, unites Asian Pacific Americans and the community at-large through culture, education and community service.
