Michigan Department of Civil Rights To Close Kalamazoo and Saginaw Offices

In response to the need to reduce spending, the Department of Civil Rights will close its regional offices in Kalamazoo and Saginaw effective June 5, 2009. To the extent possible, staff from those offices will be relocated to other offices in the state. Service to those impacted communities will still be available through the Department's statewide toll-free number, 1-800-482-3604. Residents will still be able to visit remaining offices in Grand Rapids, Lansing, Detroit, Flint and Marquette.
