  People With Disabilities
What is the ADA?

Answer:
The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) is a civil rights act designed to protect people with disabilities from discrimination in the areas of employment, access to public services and programs, access to places of public accommodation and telecommunication. The ADA is not an affirmative action law but is intended to give people with disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of community life.
