FAQ
  People With Disabilities
I am losing my hearing and afraid of losing my job.

Answer:
It is against the law to disciminate in employment because of a disability. If you need a reasonable accommodation like assistive listening devices or flashing signalers to continue in your present job, you are entitled to them under the law. For more information on reasonable accommodations, you can find it on the Internet under Job Accommodation Network (J-A-N). Consult with your ADA/504 coordinator for assistance if you are a state employee.
