Meet the Director

• Meet the Director
Linda V. Parker was appointed as Director of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights in November 2003. A native Detroiter, Parker is a former partner at the Detroit-based law firm, Dickinson Wright, PLC, where she practiced environmental law. Parker also served as the first Executive Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan under the leadership of former U.S. Attorney, Saul A. Green from 1994-2000. Additionally, Parker served as the Director of Development at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
