The Michigan Women’s Commission is pleased to announce the appointment of Emma Bell as the new Chairwoman and Judy Karandjeff as the Executive Director. Governor Jennifer Granholm announced her appointments on April 16, 2003.

The commission thanks Anne Norlander of Battle Creek for her previous service as Chairwoman and Jean Kordenbrock as the former Executive Director. Their work has furthered the mission "to improve the quality of life for Michigan women".

The next meeting of the Michigan Women’s Commission will be on Tuesday, August 19, at 9:30 a.m. in the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, 7^th floor, 110 West Michigan, Lansing, MI.
