Lansing – The Michigan Civil Rights Commission will hold a regular business meeting at 4:00 pm on Monday, May 22 at the Samaritas Community Center, 3145 Russell Street, Saginaw, 48601.
At the meeting, Commissioners will hear reports on a number of Michigan Department of Civil Rights initiatives.
Individuals who wish to address the Commission on civil rights issues will be able to speak during a public comment period.

The Michigan Civil Rights Commission was created by the Michigan Constitution to carry out constitutional and legal guarantees against discrimination. The Commission is charged with investigating alleged discrimination against any person because of religion, race, color or national origin, sex, age, marital status, height, weight, arrest record, and physical and mental disability.
