What Impact Do Anti-Discrimination Policies Have on Economy, Communities?

Lansing - On June 26, 2012, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights will co-host a public hearing on the impact that anti-discrimination policies have on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons, as well as the economy and social well-being of Michigan communities. The event will be co-sponsored by the Holland Human Relations Commission and take place from 7-9 p.m. in Council Chambers of Holland City Hall, 270 South River Avenue.

Members of the general public are encouraged to attend and provide testimony on the personal impact of these policies.

To provide written testimony, please email it to calcagnor@michigan.gov before June 25, 2012. Please indicate if you would like to testify during the hearing.
