AMENDMENT TO RULE 5-4.2, OVERTIME (Revised)
|
In SPDOC 07-15, we gave notice of the attached proposed rule amendment to exclude sick leave time as a basis for calculating overtime for NEREs. Please note that staff will now recommend an effective date of January 1, 2008 (rather than October 1, 2008). January 1, 2008, is the effective date of similar amendments in the proposed collective bargaining agreements.
The proposed amendment will be considered by the Civil Service Commission at its next meeting, scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 5, 2007, Capitol Commons Center, 400 S. Pine Street, Lansing. Comments must be received by Wednesday, November 28, 2007.
