REGULATION 5.05, LONGEVITY COMPENSATION
|
The attached Regulation 5.05, Longevity Compensation, has been revised to reflect the change in required documentation for military service credit. Standard A.2.e.(1) has been updated to reflect the specific military forms that are acceptable as evidence of active military service.

Additionally, Standard A.2.d. is being added as part of the continued centralization of military leave and pay processing. In order to ensure consistency in calculation of eligible service credit, appointing authorities are now being asked to forward the required documentation to Civil Service for calculation of eligible military service and processing of any applicable HRMN transactions. Documentation may be e-mailed to MDCS-MilitaryLeave@michigan.gov.

In accordance with Standard C of Regulation 1.01, Issuance of Civil Service Regulations, the attached regulation is being issued with an effective date of October 5, 2008.
