WORKSITES: We welcome your wellness event stories!
On October 3, 2011, the new Quality of Life Wellness group that is inclusive of the departments of Environmental Quality, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Office of Human Resources had their first kick-off event, which was open to all Quality of Life employees wherever they were located in the state. The event started with a "Healthy Minutes Competition"; and employees also had the opportunity to watch webinars from their desks or in reserved conference rooms at several locations throughout the state. Recipe pot lucks were hosted prior to the webinars at various sites. Recipes were collected and a cookbook has been compiled and posted on the QOL website.
