PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO REGULATION 3.06, SANCTIONS FOR VIOLATING APPRAISAL METHOD INTEGRITY |
Proposed amendments to Civil Service Regulation 3.06, Sanctions for Violating Appraisal Method Integrity, were circulated for review and comment under SPDOC No. 05-13, dated November 28, 2005.
Upon further examination of the issues related to sanctions, it was determined that the regulation warranted additional revision. Comments received on the previous proposed amendments were also taken into consideration. Therefore, this regulation is again being circulated for review and comment.
The regulation has basically been re-written to encompass all sanctions, and establishes procedures for applying, appealing, and removing employment sanctions. The title is also being changed to "Employment Sanctions" to more accurately reflect the purpose of this regulation.
Written comments regarding the proposed amendments may be sent to Janet McClelland, Chief Deputy Director, Department of Civil Service, P.O. Box 30002, Lansing, Michigan 48909. Comments must be received by June 8, 2006.
