What?
A temporary pin is issued when you need a new password but have not completed your security questionnaire.
Why?
Your temporary pin allows you secure access to your security questionnaire which will allow you to reset your own Self-Service Password online.
I Have a Temporary Pin, Where Do I Go Now?
If you already have your temporary pin, you are ready to login and complete your security questionnaire. Temporary pins always start with "tmp" and can be used to login to the following link:

How Do I Get a Temporary Pin?
Please contact the MI HR Service Center at 877-766-6447 or 517-335-0529 to get a new temporary pin. Once you receive your temporary pin, access the link above to complete your security questionnaire.
Your temporary pin will be emailed if you have a valid State of Michigan email address on file. Without a valid State of Michigan email address, your temporary pin will be mailed to the home address on file within 1 business day. To update your email address or home address, please contact the MI HR Service Center at 877-766-6447 or 517-335-0529.
