Performance Management User Guide Supervisor Certifies for Performance Review with an Overall Rating of Unsatisfactory

The supervisor conducts the performance review as described in the “Supervisor Certifies the Performance Review user guide” except the selected overall rating for a probationary review is unsatisfactory.

Supervisor Certifies for Performance Review with an Overall Rating of Unsatisfactory

	The supervisor selects the Overall Rating of Unsatisfactory. A warning box appears verifying the rating is correct and the review will no longer be available on-line once selected.
	The supervisor will not have the option to “certify” an unsatisfactory rating
Note: When the performance review has an overall rating of unsatisfactory, the performance review process is suspended in the system and must be handled directly by the agency’s HR office. The HR office is required to handle the process if the performance review has an unsatisfactory overall rating.
