Retirees included in the following retirement systems are eligible to enroll in Individual Long-Term Care Insurance (Defined-Contribution and Defined-Benefit): Judges Retirement System, Legislators Retirement System, Military Retirement System, State Employees Retirement System, and State Police Retirement System.

You are eligible for all other benefits if you are a State of Michigan, defined benefit retiree who is currently receiving a pension.

Your spouse and eligible children. Children are covered up to age 26*.
Auto and Home Insurance All resident family members of benefit-eligible, retirees.

Individual Long-Term Care Insurance

All family members of benefit-eligible retirees may apply through full medical underwriting. Eligible family members include: spouses / partners, adult children (18 and over) and siblings.

*Dependent children are now eligible up to age 26. This change was effective on July 1, 2011.
